i had a lovely stay at la smorfia. the hotel is beautifully finished, feeling more like a four-star place than its rating. the room was essential but spotless, and the location is just a three-minute walk to the sea. the staff were incredibly friendly and helped me with everything i needed.

what an absolute disappointment this place is. The noise from the hallway was unbearable, as if the conversations were right in my room. And the hotel staff? they were busy arguing at night, completely disregarding our need for sleep. I almost thought about giving them a decent review, but they woudl ve been better off offering me a complimentary upgrade. Just saying.

Lighting in the room is problematic. a bright light that can't be turned off disrupts the atmosphere and forces creativity, like using a towel to dim it. the location isn't quite as central as one might hope, requiring a bit of a trek to reach the main attractions.

I stayed in a Standard Double Room for 4 nights. The room was simple but super clean, which was a nice surprise. The proximity to the beach was awesome, just a quick 3-minute walk! the noise from the hallway was a bit much at times, especially at night. it would be great if lighting could be improved since it wasn’t dimmable at all.
